The Melville Monument Naval Memorial is a large column in St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, Scotland, constructed between 1821 and 1827 as a Naval Memorial to Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville.
The Proprietors of St Andrew Square renegotiated the contract (January 1821) for the Naval Monument and gifted the site free of charge.
